Product Information

As these vehicle age with time so do their cooling systems. Radiators tend to plug up, plastic flanges become brittle and crack, gaskets and hoses dry out and leak, and sensors and thermostat fail. Have peace of mind with this all inclusive cooling kit which allows you to replace the most common failure items in your VW's cooling system.

Cooling System Service Kit

A cooling system service involves checking and replenishing the coolant fluid in a vehicle's engine cooling system, typically including inspecting hoses, belts, the radiator, water pump, and thermostat for leaks, damage, or wear, and replacing the coolant with fresh fluid if necessary; failure symptoms include a rising temperature gauge on the dashboard, visible coolant leaks, steam coming from under the hood, low coolant levels, and a sweet smell near the engine

Cooling System Service Kit Failure Symptoms
  • Overheating engine: The most significant sign, indicated by a high-temperature gauge reading
  • Coolant leaks: Visible puddles under the car, especially near the radiator or hoses
  • Steam from under the hood: A sign of boiling coolant

First Radiator Swap 10/10
Kit included many extra O-Rings that are not needed if your replaced other coolant related parts(water-pump,thermostat,etc) included everything, R&R was done on a 2004 Jetta 2.0GL (BBW) HIGHLEY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALSO PURCHASE RADIATOR MOUNTS (OE top mounts tend to seize to radiator).
