VW Transmission Pan Bolt - OE Supplier WHT000309

2014 Jetta CPKA 1.8 TSI - 11-2021 80k miles. These are the exact same - the washers are made to stay on the bolts so you don't have to worry about dropping them. The washers are great because they allow the bolt heads to turn and not damage the paint finish on the pan, protects from future corrosion and coming loose. Not technically lock washers. They are important to replace, as mine in this upper Midwest salt belt were very rusty, and I had to work the socket on them, rubbing rust off. Very glade I was able to remove the old ones, and replace them with new ones. Transmission was never touched from the factory, so 8 years later.... - I recommend to replace them. Side note - Dropped the pan and changed the transmission filter, and only replaced roughly 2.7 qts of fluid, which was BLACK and burnt. I will be doing several drain and fills to get it back to a good condition.
