Wiper Arm Failure Symptoms

Wiper Blade Not Moving: If the wiper arm is not moving when the rear wiper is activated, it could indicate a problem with the arm itself, such as a broken connection to the wiper motor or a stripped gear within the motor
Wiper Blade Stopping Mid-Arc: A wiper arm that stops moving in the middle of its arc can suggest that it is loose, damaged, or has a stripped pivot point, preventing it from completing the intended wiping motion
