Includes inner and outer tie rod, a common source of steering issues

Tie rods are an often overlooked maintenance item which can cause steering performance loss and alignment issues. The outer ball joint which connects the tie rod to the wheel spindle can easily wear out from thousands of miles of driving. In addition, the rubber boot can also wear out allowing dirt and water to get inside the joint. The inner joint is also known to develop play with high mileage which can also have an effect on steering performance.

Steering Tie Rod Assembly

The tie rods of your vehicle play a critical role as they're the link between the power steering rack and pinion and the wheel spindle. Tie rod ends contain ball joints that tend to wear out over time due to constant wear and tear. When the ball joints within the tie rod wear out, it allows for play within the wheels which can throw off your alignment and cause uneven tire wear. Its always encouraged to check your tie rod ends for play as well as tires for uneven wear at every service interval. When replacing worn tie rod ends its always recommend to replace them in pairs as well as to perform an alignment.

Ad say's Q7 Toureg but I bought them for a Cayenne (most suspension parts the same. Lemforder is the factory part so I was happy getting the same thing Porsche used at a lower price. Great part.
