Steering Tie Rod End Kit

The tie rods of your vehicle play a critical role as they're the link between the power steering rack and pinion and the wheel spindle. Tie rod ends contain ball joints that tend to wear out over time due to constant wear and tear. When the ball joints within the tie rod wear out, it allows for play within the wheels which can throw off your alignment and cause uneven tire wear. Its always encouraged to check your tie rod ends for play as well as tires for uneven wear at every service interval. When replacing worn tie rod ends its always recommend to replace them in pairs as well as to perform an alignment.

One thing makes this 4 stars!
I LOVE This kit a lot! but that INNER BOOT CLAMP, I believe its called a oeitiker clamp, I HATE IT, I even bought the correct pliers for it, even got a second pair at AutoZone just in case. NOPE. Couldn't figure out how to put it on, maybe I'm a monkey, but I just took a regular clamp with a screw, used that instead. Wouldn't you know? It works great. What I do not get is that the squeeze clamp on the outer part of the boot is great! super easy. Why did they mess it up with the inner one????

Volvo Tie Rod Kit
I used this tie rod kit to refresh the front end of my 2006 Volvo S80 that had 135500 miles on it. This kit and the strut kit transformed the quality of the ride and was well worth the reasonable price. Thanks FCP once again!

What are the part numbers for the 6 nuts shown in the pic? (accidently just ordered just the tie rod ends in another kit)

The nut for the tie rod end joint is https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo-suspension-strut-bolt-lock-nut-850-s70-v70-c70-971099, but the other nut is not available separately. These would both typically be included with tie rod ends. If you purchased these tie rod ends from us (the ones in this kit, Lem 2667702 and 2667602) they are included.

This kit is noted as a fit for a 2004 V70R, yet the steering tie rod assembly (Lemforder 274353) when viewed separately indicates it is NOT a fit for the V70R. Is there a fitment discrepancy?
