Product Information

This is a Bilstein Heavy Duty strut, designed for applications that demand higher control under load than standard OE suspension such as towing. This strut is for vehicles WITHOUT Self-Leveling suspension, and stock/unaltered ride height.

It is always recommended to have matching styles of strut/shock absorber front to back. The corrisponding rear shocks for this front strut are BIL-24147002

Suspension Strut Assembly

If your ride feels a little bouncy or you can feel clunks in the suspension while it's going over bumps it is likely due to worn strut assemblies and shock absorbers. The purpose of the strut assembly is it acts as a central pivot point for the suspension while housing the coil spring. It also dampens the compression and rebound of the coil spring as the suspension moves up and down. When replacing suspension components it is highly recommended to replace them in pairs.
