Shock Review
Perfect fit, great ride. Getting the top nut off is challenging. A Mac air gun wouldn't do it. Used a crow's foot wrench to hold the nut and an Allen key in a 3/8" handle along with some heat from an oxyacetylene torch. Several treatments of Zep penetrating oil. Think I had extensions on both. Have some good beer ready for when you are done!

Substantial Improvement
I used these to replace OEM Nivomats which had 144,000 miles on them. Replacing self-leveling suspension with conventional necessitates replacing the springs as well, so please be advised this is an 'off label' use. Nonetheless, the ride in my XC90 AWD is firmer yet smoother, with less body roll in turns. The Bilsteins are the same length as the OEM parts with the same mounting points. I do recommend the use of the special Volvo tool to hold the top nut, as it's almost impossible to tighten without spinning the shaft otherwise.
