According to my maintenance records I last changed the front brake rotors (to Zimmermann Z Coat) and pads (to these pads) about 90k miles ago which surprised me. I changed them now because they were getting "grabby" when at a stop and starting off again, the lip at the edge of the rotors was probably 1.5 mm deep (cannot find my calipers to measure them). I wondered if the pads were worn through on the inside of the calipers, nope, even wear with 2-3 mm left before metal to metal. I really like these pads even though they can generate dust.
