The brake pads in this kit are Ceramic. The main benefit of using a ceramic pad compound is that it produces less brake dust compared to a semi-metallic pad without sacrificing overall braking power. These pads will have less initial bite than a semi-metallic compound, but produce significantly less dust and have better temperature fade resistance in performance driving situations.

Normally, I'm very happy with my orders from FCP Euro. This one could stand some improvement. I ordered a "kit" (rotors and pads). The box arrived, and I scheduled some time off work to do the install. Took out old pads and took off old rotor, opened up the box - only rotors were shipped - no pads. Silly me - should have checked everything before I started.
Suggestion for FCP Euro - if you advertise it as a "kit", please ship everything in 1 box - even if it's delayed. It really doesn't do much good to get 1/2 the kit in 1 shipment, and 1/2 in another shipment.
