NOTE

Halfway through 1999, Volvo changed the rear brakes on AWD P80's to this updated style which features a modern push-in clip retainer on the back of the pad. Earlier '99 models have a built-in spring clip on the top of the pad. A visual inspection is a good idea for 1999 AWD models to confirm the style of rear brakes installed on your Volvo

The brake pads in this kit are Ceramic. The main benefit of using a ceramic pad compound is that it produces less brake dust compared to a semi-metallic pad without sacrificing overall braking power. These pads will have less initial bite than a semi-metallic compound, but produce significantly less dust and have better temperature fade resistance in performance driving situations.
