The brake pads in this kit are Ceramic. The main benefit of using a ceramic pad compound is that it produces less brake dust compared to a semi-metallic pad without sacrificing overall braking power. These pads will have less initial bite than a semi-metallic compound, but produce significantly less dust and have better temperature fade resistance in performance driving situations.

All the parts fit very nicely. The z-coat on the discs was a nice added touch - keeps the corrosion in check from driving on salted New England roads during the winter.
