A rain sensor is an electronic device typically mounted on the windshield behind the rearview mirror that detects moisture levels on the glass. It automatically activates and adjusts the speed of the windshield wipers based on rainfall intensity, improving visibility and driver convenience. By responding in real-time to changing weather conditions, the rain sensor enhances safety and reduces the need for manual wiper control.
