Liftgate trim is the interior or exterior finishing panel attached to a vehicle’s rear liftgate (the hinged door at the back of SUVs, hatchbacks, and some crossovers). On the interior, the trim provides a finished look, covers structural metal and wiring, and may include handles or access panels for components like the wiper motor.
