Hood Seal

A car hood seal is a strip of rubber or rubber-like material that runs along the edge of the hood where it meets the body of the vehicle. Its main function is to create a barrier that prevents water, dust, dirt, and engine heat from escaping or entering where the hood closes. It also helps reduce vibration and noise, ensuring the hood fits snugly and securely while protecting sensitive engine components from external contaminants.
