Part number HEL-009452181 is a new, unused Hella headlight assembly. Aside from an accident, there is little reason to change your headlight assemblies, although some owners experience cloudy headlights due to oxidation. In the case of oxidation, there are several products on the market that remove the oxidation similarly to removing oxidation from car paint. Additionally there are some who have successfully used toothpaste to remove headlight oxidation as well (yes, you read that right). If you need new headlights, you may want to consider changing them in pairs (including the bulbs) for even lighting performance.

Headlight Assembly

Most US market cars after 1984 transitioned from sealed beam headlights to headlight assemblies. A headlight assembly generally consists of a headlight housing, lens, mounts, adjusting units, and a reflector. While some Halogen headlight assemblies may come with bulbs, most HID headlight assemblies do not include bulbs or other electrical units, making it important to check to see what is included before ordering. A good condition headlight assembly is important for both night time visibility as well as good vehicle aesthetics.

  • Cracked, delaminating, or damaged lens: The headlight assembly is mounted at the most vulnerable spot on the car. If it becomes broken or damaged by road debris, it should be replaced.
  • Condensation: Moisture or condensation inside the headlight assembly indicates a failing seal or crack in the housing.
  • Headlight Alignment Issues: If the headlight assembly is damaged, misaligned, or loose, the headlights may not properly focus the light on the road, causing poor visibility.

Does the headlight fit to righthand drive car? what is capabilities of this headlight ? Is it possible headlight/7L6 941 040 E as a replacement for headlight 7L6 941 040 D ?, Is there any function not work ?

Unfortunately our application guides are made to the North American Market specifications and we do not have RHD fitment information at this time. Our apologies.
