A complete front control arm kit with Meyle control arms, tie rods, and hardware

If the front end of your Volkswagen Touareg is feeling a little loose in the corners or you are feeling clunks while traveling over bumps it is likely due to worn-out control arms. The control arms have integrated ball joints and bushings which are designed to flex and articulate the suspension movements over uneven road surfaces. When the bushings and ball joints wear out they allow for more than usual play which affects handling performance and alignment characteristics. In extreme circumstances, control arm bushings can completely fail where they tear all the way through the bushing.

In addition to the control arms themselves wearing out it is not uncommon for the hardware such as the eccentric bolts, hex bolts, and lock nuts to be completely corroded to the point where they can't be reused. When installing new control arms its always wise to use new hardware to ensure the safety and proper performance of the new components.
