VW Drive Shaft CV Joint Kit - GKN 191498099A

Product Information

The drive shaft CV (constant velocity) joint kit is a crucial drivetrain component that allows smooth transfer of power from the transmission to the wheels, even when the suspension is moving or the wheels are turning. It maintains consistent rotational speed without friction or play, ensuring stable handling and efficient power delivery. The kit typically includes the CV joint, protective boot, grease, and necessary hardware for installation. Built from high-strength steel and engineered for durability, it helps prevent drivetrain vibration, noise, and premature wear.

• Clicking or popping noises when turning – a common sign of a worn or damaged CV joint.
• Grease leakage from torn CV boot – indicates loss of lubrication and potential joint contamination.
• Excessive vibration during acceleration – caused by joint wear or imbalance in the drive shaft assembly.
