Ambient Air Temperature Sensor

An Ambient Air Temperature Sensor is a component used in vehicles to measure the temperature of the air outside the vehicle. Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Failure Symptoms
  • Inaccurate Temperature Readings: If the sensor is malfunctioning, it may provide incorrect ambient temperature readings. This can lead to improper adjustments in fuel mixture and air intake, affecting engine performance
  • Check Engine Light: A faulty ambient air temperature sensor can trigger the Check Engine light on the dashboard. Diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) related to the sensor may be stored in the vehicle's onboard diagnostics system
