This hose brings hot water from the radiator back to the engine. This radiator hose in particular is a common replacement item due to the extreme cooling and heating cycles it goes through. We recommend inspecting this hose more regularly for bulging, dry rot, or other deformities that indicate an imminent failure.

Radiator hoses have an important job to transport your engine's coolant to and from its cooling system components. Over time they can become dry, hard, brittle, or leak which warrants a replacement. Don’t buy this waste of money, it just leak once I start pouring cooling in the tank.

Just buy oe
Don't buy. Fits loose and stick out not seating properly to radiator causing leak. Spend the extra and buy oe. FCP will NOT refund you and not worth making a warranty claim.

Lower early Z4 radiator hose poor quality
These hoses are manufactured in Turkey just like the Rein hoses and I tried both. The leak at the bottom where they press fit into the radiator. I am meticulous about cleaning and making sure mating surfaces are true, it didn't matter. Tolerances on these must not be appropriate. Unfortunately if I return i have to pay shipping and that's about the same price as the hose. I'm ordering the BMW part that is made in Hungry and hopefully quality is better at $100.
