A Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor is an electronic device mounted inside each wheel that measures tire air pressure and transmits the data to the vehicle’s onboard computer. Its primary purpose is to alert the driver when tire pressure falls below the recommended level, helping maintain safety, fuel efficiency, and even tire wear. A properly functioning TPMS sensor ensures optimal vehicle handling and reduces the risk of tire-related failures.
