Fits perfect in a 12mm ratcheting wrench
I bought these after watching your awesome video on replacing a valve cover gasket on an N20 and these worked like a charm with the 12mm ratcheting wrench like you mentioned in the video. I would've been pulling my hair out trying to get the vacuum pump out if it wasnt for these.

Needs Specific 12 mm Socket Ratchet!
I got this ratchet from the FCP Blog and Videos for BMW F30 Valve Cover Gasket / Vacuum Pump replacement. The whole goal was an ultra low profile reach. I didn’t realize these require a 12mm socket! It doesn’t fit just any 1/4 in ratchet, but a specific 12mm sized one if you want to be compact. My fault for not reading and just going with the recommendation. With a T20 torx piece, 12 mm socket, and the most compact 1/4 in drive ratchet I could find in town between Home Depot, Lowe’s, Harbor Freight, and Auto Shops, there still wasn’t enough clearance to reach the vacuum pump screws. You need the specific ratchet style shown in the video. However, on amazon, you can find much better and cheaper sets that include the ratchet and a case! Oh, that’s the other thing. This doesn’t come with a case even though the description says plastic case with clip. The torx bits come in a foam piece with no cover. Overall, just wish my time wasn’t wasted.

Great product - works perfectly with 12mm wrench
I bought two sets and use them with a 12mm Wera Ratcheting Combination Wrench (05020067001) for an excellent low-profile torx wrench.

Find something else
not really a stubby when used on a regular size 12mm socket. its the same length as a standard. you need a stubby 12mm socket to make this work as well which defeats the purpose in my opinion. come in a plastic box and not holders or anything. would go with the gearwrench stubby if i could
