Product Information

Allows for easy removal of the strut from the steering knuckle

If your vehicle has a pinch knuckle which holds the strut in place you will need to use a tool to spread the knuckle enough to allow the old strut to slide out. Some people try to use pry bars and other tools to spread the knuckle but this practice can easily damage the cast steering knuckle. This tool set is designed to safely spread the steering knuckle without damaging the casting.

Good tool, needs more tips
Awesome design, but on some cars, specifically P3 Volvos, the gap in the casting is too wide for the tip, so it isn't able to spread. I'm looking into making my own modified tips, with a wider wedge. EDIT: The appropriate tool for the P3 Volvo's is CTA 4005 -Adam G

This would work in all the BMW applications, but not the Mercedes models listed.
