Product Information

The Bosch 'Super' line of spark plugs are a premium copper-core design, as originally equipped on many older European vehicles from the 1970s, 80s, and 90s. Copper core plugs work well with the original ignition systems on these vehicles, ensuring proper ignition of the air/fuel mixture, and maximum power output. Copper core plugs do not last as long as more modern platinum or iridium type designs, so should be changed more often depending on how you drive your classic VW, Audi, or Porsche.

Signs of a worn spark plug include reduced engine power, reduced fuel efficiency/miles per gallon, and in extreme cases engine misfires. A visual inspection showing rounded or uneven electrodes is also an indicator of spark plugs that need to be replaced.
