About SONAX

Dating back to as early as 1905, SONAX's brand history started off when the great grandfather of the now owner had extracted siliceous earth which is an extremely fine mineral and was used in many polishes. Just after the war he developed a silver polish and started to market it under the name "Sona". While it was successful it had limited market opportunity so they pursued the idea of creating a car polish to go along with the silver polish. This warranted the name change as you see it today from "Sona" to "Sonax" as the "X" signifies wax which was found in all of their car polishes. Buy this to refresh your seals
I put this on everything rubber in my car it smells amazing and is easy to use. Just make sure you clean the rubber off first or else you’ll turn your applicator black. It really refreshes the rubber and makes it soft again.

SONAX Rubber Protectant
Mainly got this to prevent seals and doors from sticking during cold winters. Worked great! Applied once before winter arrived and didn't experience any stuck doors all winter. The rubber protectant is bonus for me. Dries nice and matte.

Works well. Really made the rubber look good - not too shiny - just right and seems to absorb in well. Time will tell how it works but everything looks great. The applicator tip could have a little smaller part to get into some of the tighter crevices on my particular car - V50 - but was able to get everything .
