Missing foam gasket that OEM filters have
I ordered this because I thought it would be the same as OEM given the price point. I pulled it out to install it and it's probably a nice enough filter element, but doesn't give me the same peace of mind as the OEM filter which has a full foam strip/gasket around the outside of it to make sure no air passes around the edges of the filter element. I will likely just return this and purchase an OEM Land Rover one for the same money. Perhaps I'm overthinking it, but figured I'd write in. I don't believe the filter I recieved even had the one gasket/lip on the end as pictured here.
