Great result. my car has really bad idle. After using this product the car smooth out a lot
Cant know for sure of the cleaning action of the product. After 4 applications over 2000 miles there was a slight increase of MPG. Maybe 5-10 miles per tank. which in theory would pay for it self over a long enough time. Just go to a quality gas station. Like Shell/Mobil/BP they put detergents in the fuel already. Though this could be a nice peace of mind every 5000 miles.

For the last couple of years there has been some tappet noise during cold starts on my 2004 R230 500 SL with 115,000 Kms that goes away after five minutes. Last month I took my SL out for a 1000 Kms trip from Sydney to see an old friend. Before I left home I changed the oil using Synthetic Nulon 5W 40, a Mann filter and a bottle of SI-1 Fuel System Cleaner in the fuel tank. What a great job this fuel cleaner did. The engine performs the best it has ever done, with engine smoothness and performance becoming noticeably better. Even the tappet noise when cold went away. I think that some of the active cleaner/solvent in the SI-1 must have mixed with the engine oil during the combustion process and helped to cleanout the dirty tappet. When we got back home I changed the oil and filter to the same spec as before with the engine running like a Swiss watch A year before this trip I had tried adding a tappet cleaner to the same spec oil but it made no difference eventhough the distance and conditions were similar. Now this cleaner will be my "go to" in the future.
When I put this stuff in the R I can feel the difference for sure! My P2R just runs a lot smoother and feels alot more snappy and strong! Will keep buying it.
I watched the Fifth Gear segment on restoring horsepower in an old VR6 Corrado and the fuel system cleaner alone made the biggest difference. Definitely worth doing if you have an older car.
This stuff is liquid magic for your car. One of the most effective fuel injector system cleaners. I use the entire bottle before each oil change and I can instantly notice an increase in Mpg and my throttle response increased throughout a year of using Redline.
The only one that works because it contains 45-50% PEA. All other brands don't work/ don't tell you how much PEA is in their product.
