About Motive Products

Founded in 1998 by Matt Newman, Motive was born when Matt was in the middle of a clutch job on his BMW. Great tool
I used the Power Fill to complete a trans service on a Ford 6R80 (very close cousin to the ZF 6-speed). It made the job so much easier. Love the schrader valve feature, as it let me use a small battery powered inflator rather than pumping. This let me focus on filling and controlling the ball valve while laying on my back under a truck with a hot converter inches from my face, lol. Although it's not pictured here, this does include a red anodized aluminum "hook" spout, which conveniently drops into the fill hole on the side of the trans I was working on. I will probably have to get some transmission specific adaptors for filling some of my Euro vehicles in the future, but those can be had for cheap.

awesome system
No complaints after using this system to fill my trans and rear diff. Definitely made the job easier. I even did some price comparison and the price and service from FCP was hard to beat.

Do these units need to be cleaned after every use or can I store transmission fluid in them. I would like to buy some units for the multiple transmission fluids that I regularly service.

There should be no issue storing fluid in these as long as they are stored properly like any other fluid container.
