Our rear shock mount kit includes the upper shock mounts and all of the required mounting hardware. If your rear shock mounts are worn out and clunking or if you're replacing your rear shocks this is the kit for you.

The suspension shock mount is a component that secures the shock absorber to the vehicle's chassis or body. It helps connect the shock absorber to the vehicle while allowing for the necessary movement and cushioning of the suspension system. The shock mount is typically made of metal and rubber, providing both strength and flexibility to absorb vibrations and shocks from the road.

Suspension Shock Absorber Mounting Kit Failure Symptoms
  • Clunking or Banging Noises: A worn or damaged shock mount can cause clunking, knocking, or banging noises, especially when driving over bumps, potholes, or rough roads. These sounds occur because the shock absorber is not properly secured to the vehicle, allowing it to move or rattle.
  • Increased Body Roll or Bouncing: A failing shock mount can prevent the shock absorber from doing its job correctly, leading to excessive body roll when cornering or increased bouncing when driving over bumps.
