Product Information

The brake master cylinder provides pressure to the brake hydraulic fluid which is applied to the brake caliper pistons to press the brake pads against the rotor. Failure of the brake master cylinder will lead to a soft or spongy brake pedal, poor braking performance, fluid leaking, and in extreme cases loss of braking operation. Most often, failure is caused by contaminated brake fluid. Brake fluid is hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs moisture and requires replacement every 2 years. Neglecting brake fluid maintenance will cause the master cylinder to corrode internally and contaminated fluid will negatively affect its operation. It will also cause the master cylinder seals to swell and leak.

We've created this brake master cylinder kit to restore the braking performance and safe operation of your Porsche Cayenne. Included in our kit is the brake master cylinder, seal, and mounting hardware along with the brake reservoir cap with internal level sensor, and Fuchs DOT 514 brake fluid.
