FCP sent non-equivalent substitute
What I received is not what I purchased. FCP sent me cheapo (single-end capped) Johnson's PAG46. I could have purchased Johnson's PAG46 at Rural King or Walmart for less than I paid on FCP. It's like paying for a quart of Redline 5w30 but receiving Mobile1 5w30. FCP customer service response was a shrug and that they switches suppliers. TLDR: I ordered Masterchem DEC PAG46 (Double-End Capped) and received generic commodity PAG46 oil.

PAG-46 is the right oil for most BMW's
The right oil for your E90/E46/E39/E46 BMW. Most BMW's use PAG-46, not PAG-100 (though some do). This is priced right on FCP, and they ship quick. Your local auto parts store likely has this in stock as well, but it's usually a few bucks cheaper per ounce here.

Double End Capped Fluid, The good stuff!
Those who might not know, this is the double end capped fluid which is much better than regular PAG 46. Only oil I use in my AC and recommended by DENSO in 2004 BMW E83 X3 AC systems. Although the compressor comes supplied with same fluid, best to lube those O Rings with this oil and also adding one half to one ounce to the receiver dryer as recommended by DENSO during complete AC replacement. The lines and filter absorb oil reducing the fluid the compressor needs and could potentially lengthen the life of the system with proper lubrication.
