A solid upgrade option over OE cooling fans

This fan can be used as an upgrade to the OEM fan for more efficient cooling or fitment issues with aftermarket products. With its slim design, the fan can easily be installed flush against a radiator. For universal installation, use Mishimoto universal fan mount kit. (P/N: MMFAN-MOUNT)

Engine Cooling Fan Motor

The Engine Cooling Fan Assembly is a crucial component of a vehicle’s cooling system. It consists of an electric or mechanical fan, shroud, motor, and related wiring or clutch mechanism. Its main role is to pull or push air through the radiator to regulate coolant temperature, especially when the vehicle is idling or moving at low speeds where natural airflow is limited.

Excellent Packaging
These are quality fans with OE airflow characteristics. Approaching 3000CFM when configured in a pair, this should be plenty, even in high performance applications. I run a pair of these in my W210 LS-powered driftcar with the factory radiator with no issues. The packaging is excellent, only about 2.5" deep. They also sound pretty nice when staging or cooling off with the engine off. Good price point, as well.

it doesn't work on x3 e83 2008
Hey everyone, this fan is fantastic, but its just a fan. and it doesn't work like replacement on E83 X3, because you hace to be a bigger changes on your electric system. you can use this model on another kind of bimmer.

The fan can be used as both pusher and puller and works great in place for my auxiliary fan and fits in its place pretty nicely with little to no modifications.

I cant see it from the picture but does it have a signal wire or just power and ground and if it doesn't have a 3rd signal wire is it just always gone be powered on

This is a two-wire fan. This fan will only be on full-time if it's connected to constant power and ground. Most fan controllers utilize a switched ground off a thermostatic switch.

Instructions are not included as this is a universal product and the ways in which it can be installed/wired will vary from vehicle to vehicle. The installation kit (if needed) is referenced in the description below. We also have a video showing an example installation with a fan controller.

Instructions are not included as this is a universal product and the ways in which it can be installed/wired will vary from vehicle to vehicle. We carry the mount kits, controllers, and other applicable parts needed to install this fan. E46's can also be converted to an electric fan with factory parts as manual trans cars came with one. It would involve removing the auxiliary fan from the front and installing the entire puller fan assembly, p/n 17117561757.
