Keep your Mini Cooper's cooling system up to par with a brand new water pump

Water pumps are a common replacement item on high mileage Mini's. Water pumps essentially push and pull coolant through the cooling system. Over time the bearing inside the water pump can fail or the impeller can break causing numerous cooling system performance issues.

Engine Water Pump

Your vehicles engine water pump is responsible for keeping coolant flowing through the engine. As water pumps get old the internal bearing can go bad causing noise and a coolant leak. A good indicator that your water pump is failing is if you see coolant leaking through the water pump "weep hole".

Engine Water Pump Failure Symptoms

  • Play at water pump pulley shaft indicating a bad bearing

flange gasket not mentioned
great product but they should include the flange gasket as that needs to be removed/loosened in order to install into the supercharger.

Graf water pump
Installed easily and works great. Gave me an excuse to service the supercharger.

Since I was replacing my supercharger...
PTO gears in my supercharger lost their oil and ran dry resulting in that awful underhood rattle. I had to replace the supercharger and since the water pump attached to it was original 2003 and 158k miles, it only makes sense to replace the water pump with it. This water pump looks just like original, mounted up nice and easy and now I have one less concern with my car.
