Was looking for an adaptor that would allow me to use my CTA tools brake bleeding system on my M4. This does just that. hopefully you find this helpful if you have a similar setup and are looking for brake bleeding solution that works for your BMW M4.
Works great and can hold the full 30 psi needed to pressure bleed ABS. The air adapter it comes with is different than the standard Milton adapter most shops use and must be changed out using a Milton adapter and 1/8 MPT to 1/4 FPT. Also a good idea to add a small ball valve so the cap can be removed without having to bleed down the air supply.
I don't know how to respond to the the 3-star reviewer. it is a water quick connect not an air one.

Yes, this adapter fits the European ATE-style brake-fluid reservoir used on the 2015 Golf. CTA’s 42 mm measurement is the adapter’s inner opening, while “45 mm” commonly refers to the nominal outside diameter of the reservoir’s threaded neck, so these specifications are not conflicting.

What is the size in millimeters (45mm, 42mm or ? of the adapter? Does it fit a 2003 VW Golf and Jetta TDI? Or do I need a different size adapter?

This is a 42mm ID adapter. The european adapter is available in the Motive bleeder kit listed below, European adapters would be 45mm.

Use a minimum of 10 psi and a max of 15 psi. Do NOT exceed 30 psi (risk of damage to reservoir). Turn the compressor on for only 15-20 sec to build it to 10-15 psi.

Does the cap fit volvo reservoirs. I have 2009 xc70. Also Doe the fitting on the cap fit schwaben brake bleeder air coupler? Schwaben coupler is smaller than the regular 1/4” NPT couplers.

Could you be more specific as there are many styles of connectors such as M, P, H, G, T, L and A -ARO. I want to get a female connector to match the one on the cap and I don't want it to leak. Thanks!
