Its function is to draw windshield washer fluid from the reservoir and spray it through the nozzles onto the windshield. Windshield Washer Pump Failure Symptoms
  • Washer Fluid Not Spraying: The most common sign of a failing pump is that no washer fluid sprays onto the windshield when the system is activated, even if the reservoir is full
  • Washer Fluid Leaks: If the pump housing or connections are damaged, it may cause washer fluid to leak under the vehicle, especially near the front or rear
  • Low or Inconsistent Spray Pressure: A partially failing pump may produce weak or inconsistent fluid flow, resulting in only a small amount of fluid reaching the windshield
