Tie rod ends contain ball joints that tend to wear out over time due to constant wear and tear. When the ball joints within the tie rod wear out, it allows for play within the wheels which can throw off your alignment and cause uneven tire wear. Its always encouraged to check your tie rod ends for play as well as tires for uneven wear at every service interval. When replacing worn tie rod ends its always recommend to replace them in pairs as well as to perform an alignment.

(RR) Tie Rod Kit
Very nice kit and well packed. Missing one item that would make it the perfect package in my perspective. There is a crush collar missing in this kit that locks the inner to the outer tie rod. The reason I replaced my tie rods was to be able to achieve a front end alignment. My inner & outer tie adjustment was seized not able to move or be disassemble. Buying the entire kit was a no brainer for ease of entire replacement with great parts and not having to focus on old parts, however missing the locking collar I still had to interact by cutting the inner tie rod at the threads to gain access & remove the locking collar. Transferred the collar and installed. Ease of threading, exact nut sizes as OEM, and great paint coverage.
