Product Information

AS-3608 is Arnott’s premium replacement front air strut designed for either the left or right side of the 2018–2025 Land Rover Velar (L560 chassis) equipped with standard suspension, excluding Performance models. This fully assembled unit directly replaces the original factory strut and incorporates a custom-valved shock absorber engineered to deliver exceptional comfort and handling.

Each strut is precision-built in the USA and features a durable, multi-layer air spring encased in an aluminum canister with an integrated aluminum top mount. Arnott includes their proprietary long-life seals, O-rings, and bump stop, along with heavy-duty crimping rings, a new air-line fitting, and a protective dust boot—ensuring reliable performance and long service life.

Air Suspension Strut

An air suspension strut is a key component in vehicles equipped with air suspension systems. It combines a traditional shock absorber with an air spring (a rubber bladder filled with pressurized air). The strut supports the vehicle’s weight, absorbs road impacts, and adjusts ride height for comfort and handling. Over time, the air bladder, seals, or internal shock can wear out, leading to ride and handling issues.

Air Suspension Strut Failure Symptoms
  • Sagging or uneven ride height – one corner or the entire vehicle sits lower than normal.
  • Rough or bouncy ride – poor damping from a worn shock or air bladder leak.
  • Air compressor overuse – system runs constantly to compensate for air leaks in the strut.
