Product Information

The primary function of an exhaust valve is to expel burned gases from the engine's combustion chambers after the power stroke. It opens at the correct moment to release these gases into the exhaust system, with its timing and duration controlled by the engine's camshaft. If the exhaust valve does not seat properly, it can become damaged and burn, leading to poor seating and increased wear.

Engine Exhaust Valve

An engine exhaust valve is a component inside the cylinder head that controls the release of burned gases from the combustion chamber after the air-fuel mixture has been ignited. It works in tandem with the intake valve, which allows fresh air and fuel into the cylinder. Exhaust valves are typically made of heat-resistant steel to withstand high temperatures and pressure.
