Jaguar Vacuum Pump Kit - Pierburg 701188220

Product Information

A power brake booster vacuum pump is a component that provides the necessary vacuum pressure for the brake booster, ensuring consistent braking assistance. This is especially important in vehicles with turbocharged, supercharged, or diesel engines, where natural engine vacuum may be insufficient. By supplying stable vacuum pressure, the pump allows the brake booster to reduce pedal effort, improving braking efficiency and driver control.

• Hard or stiff brake pedal, requiring more effort to stop the vehicle.
• Longer stopping distances, due to reduced brake assist.
• Unusual noises (whining or clicking) from the pump, often signaling wear or failure.
