Jaguar Oil Filter Housing Wrench (90mm) - CTA Manufacturing A259

This was suggested as part of an oil change kit for my 2016 Land Rover LR4. It’s is technically too big, but they say it will work. Looks like the previous owner over-tightened, and this tool couldn’t handle it. First you can see the 3/8 square for your ratchet is too big and allows the square to turn too much and dents the sides. Then it slipped on the cap because it’s too big. I put a shop paper towel between the tool and the cap to make up some room. Immediately broke the tiny little welds that hold the 3/8 square hole to the body. This tool would’ve probably worked if everything was in spec or already loose but is very cheap and easy to bend and break.

Used this to change the oil filter on my 16 F-Type S 6MT. Torque is roughly 18 ft-lb.
