Jaguar Engine Camshaft Position Sensor - OE Supplier XR853846

Product Information

The engine camshaft position sensor is used to aid the engine ECU in monitoring the position of the engine camshaft. The feedback from this sensor is used for the optimization of the engine ignition timing. This sensor is sometimes referred to as a CMP sensor and is critical for proper engine operation. Failure of the camshaft position sensor can cause several driveability complaints including stumbling, hesitation on acceleration, and power loss, as well as potentially cause hard start on no-start conditions.

• Extended crank or no-start condition
• Poor driveability including stumbling, hesitation on acceleration, and power loss.
