An engine auxiliary water pump is a component in a vehicle's cooling system that helps circulate coolant to the engine, heater core, and supporting systems leveraging coolant like the turbocharger. It is particularly useful in systems where additional coolant flow is needed to maintain optimal operating temperatures, especially during low-speed driving or when the engine is idling.
