Product Information

The legend reborn. The all-new Q2 MOHS EVO coating is a true advancement in ceramic coating technology. By using fluorine to modify the polysilazane base chemistry, GYEON is able to deliver a single layer coating that outperforms everything on the market. High gloss. Incredible durability. Intense water behavior and repellency. Real chemical resistance. Exactly what we want a high-level paint coating to do. Pair that with a silky smooth application and easy removal, we have a polysilazane ceramic coating that checks all the boxes.

Box Contains

  • Q² MOHS EVO
  • Q²M COATING APPLICATOR

FLORO MODIFIED POLYSILAZANE

What does that mean?! Let’s be clear. THIS is the real progression in automotive paint coating. Not an additive or infusion. Not dust floating in your coating bottle. GYEON has taken tried and true chemistry and improved it. There is no fluorine “in” the polysilazane car coating itself. Fluorine is used in the precursor stage to modify the polysilazane for dramatic increases in usability and performance.

SMOOTH AND SILKY FEEL

While we never recommend touching polished paint, the feel of Q² MOHS EVO polysilazane car coating is something special. The finish is silky and smooth to the touch which creates incredible slickness during washing to reduce swirl marks. The finish is highly repellent, making self-cleaning and water beading properties impressive.

PRO TIP

Q² MOHS EVO is a dream to work with. Due to the sophisticated chemistry the application is silky smooth. The removal process is just as simple. Apply one thick layer and wipe off immediately . Buy Q2 Mohs in the 50 ml bottle and use the remaining on your wheels for serious protection.

  • CONSUMPTION: 15-25ml/car
  • PH TOLERANCE: 2-11
  • DURABILITY: up to 36 MONTHS / 40KKM for 1 layer & 48 MONTHS / 50KKM for 2 layers

nice
I've used other Gyeon products for my detailing hobby but I never tried a ceramic coating until now and i love it, it is easy to apply. there are plenty of youtube videos out there to help you on coating your car. I like Larry Kosilla (AMMO NYC) and Todd Cooperider (ESOTERIC). A 50ml bottle was enough to coat my 18' Honda pilot so other SUVs and smaller cars should be no problem. the job took me about 6 hours from washing, claying, masking trim, paint correction, applying the coating, and the final wipe. prep work is key. your paint surface needs to be as clean as possible and scratch-free before applying the coating so it can get the best results possible. once you open the bottle the curing process begins and the coating will crystalize so don't expect to save whatever is left for next time. so use whatever is left on your rims and body pillars so you don't lose whatever is left. This kit also comes with a "Gyeon" sticker and a service sticker which is nice. If you are not into detailing you will have to weigh out your options between paying a detailer to do it for you or buying the detailing chemicals & tools to do it yourself (which can get very expensive). The coating should last 36 months depending on how you take care of your car. you should use other Gyeon products like Gyeon Q2 wax, Gyeon wet coat, and Gyeon quick detailer for the longevity of your coating.
