Product Information

The traditional clay bar remains one of the most effective solutions available for dealing with heavily ingrained dirt on vehicle paintwork. Gyeon introduces detailing kits incorporating two clay bars with different levels of contamination removal – the Q²M Clay Coarse for heavily contaminated surfaces and the daily maintenance Q²M Clay Mild. Both Gyeon clay bars are extremely chemical resistant and may be used with Q²M Iron or Q²M Tar removers, as well as with our highly concentrated Q²M ClayLube.

Q²M CLAY MILD

Q²M Clay Mild has been designed to be completely safe on all types of paint, effectively removing all types of contamination even on the softest paints. Its light color helps to spot any removed contamination and kneed the clay bar accordingly.

Too much work compared to alternatives
Without FCP Euro’s Lifetime Replacement warranty I would buy not buy this myself. I started using clay bars from Meguiar’s about a decade ago and I think that works much better than this. My car is not that dirty but I noticed pieces of the clay would come apart and I would need 10 runs on the same spot before I was satisfied the finish was smooth. This became a real pain when I started rubbing the clay bar on the bumper, hood, fenders and side skirts. When I return this clay bar I’m going to try the Griot's alternative on FCP Euro.
