This tool has saved me a lot of money on services for my 12 GTI. Make sure you also purchase the rubber adapter to make things easy.

This pump came as a kit to do Haldex service to my Golf Alltrack, I paid a good chunk of change for this "kit", I know better next time. My recommendation is not buy this for Haldex service, go to the auto parts store and buy a $12 hand pump that will screw onto the Haldex fluid container, this works great... I really don't know what this pump is good for, really?? Your transmission holds more than 1500cc of fluid, if you are doing transmission service just buy a real transmission pump that holds all the fluid require. I don't have an issue with the quality of the pump it is just poorly advertised.. In order to use this to do Haldex service you have to use a kluge of adapters to get it to fit in the fill hole of the differential case, these adapters come with the "kit" but are described as ATF adapters... Next time I'll just go to the dealership, buy a quart of fluid and use my $12 pump..

I bought this for transmission fluids, but used it instead for removing coolant while replacing the OFHG. It was a pleasure to use, and I was able to pull a full 1.5 liters into this thing without spilling it! Comes with spare seals. A more secure cap at the end of the hose would be the only thing I would suggest improving.

Love this tool. Do lots of car work and decided to treat myself to this tool. Used it to fill diff and manual transmission on my BMW 335. Made the fill easier than ever.

This is good tool that's pretty easy to use and has optional attachments (such as an ATF fill tube). The main issue is, this tool is really meant for doing work with your car on a lift. It's awkward as heck to use when the car is only on jack stands and gets real messy. A fluid transfer pump is probably a better option for jack stands, but if you have a lift this is a great tool.

Worked. Not a simple process to re-fill transmission fluid with this, but it worked with a bit of a mess.

This pump worked great for filling the transmission as well as extracting and filling the rear differential, had to make an adapter for it to do the rear differential. Might be nice if one came with it.

Works fine, easy to clean. The 1L capacity is great for large jobs like filling a transmission. Could be improved by adding a valve on the tubing to allow you to fill the container without worrying about it draining out at the same time. I guess they anticipate you will always extract the fluid out of a container rather than pour it in. This was not an option with the ATF bottles I was using. I'm a DIY'er who already had a fluid extractor and will not need a pressure filler more than once per year, this was a great low cost option.
