Strands of thread tape inside of one of the fittings. I had to clean out to prevent them from getting into my brake lines. The fitting that connects to the cap leaked air and brake fluid throughout the bleeding process so I had to revert to pumping the brake pedal and also pumping the pump to keep pressure and that helped to speed things up. After cleanup it did eventually get the job done. Will probably go in the garbage. Not sure it was worth all the setup time.

I bought this to make bleeding brakes easier. It seemed to do the trick. I did have an issue with the hose not sealing all the way and the pressure escaping, but I think I was able to resolve that issue. I use it on two cars so far, and both were successful jobs.

Either very flawed or they made this one on a monday
This isn’t a knock on FCP euro, they are great.
Let’s start with the pressure gauge. Pumped it up to 15 to test it, needle gets stuck at 15 and won’t go back to 0. Tapped it and it went back to 0. That was weird. Tried again and then it went past 15 and then fell past 30. Sooooo, defective gauge. Sucks.
Went to Menards and replaced the gauge. Restarted the job and mostly the rest was fine.
Disappointingly, every single factory crimp leaked. Very very slowly so as to not lose a material amount of pressure. Frusteratingly there is brake fluid coming from the factory crimp at the bleeder, at the factory crimp at the brass connector, and strangely even at the brake fluid reservoir at the car. Note it is not losing any pressure, just a very very slow leak.
Did it get the job done, yes. Was it way more complicated and messy then you would expect from a premium product, yes too.

Was able to bleed my brakes myself without having to worry about running out of fluid in a reservoir. This is a must have if you're a DIY person.

flush your brake fluid with ease
This device made flushing the brake fluid on my 2018 M2 a breeze. I plan to get the right adaptor and use it on my Subaru Forester soon. It's great to be able to perform brake fluid flushes in my own garage at home.

Purchased this because I was tired of needing a second person to do a simple routine maintenance. The product works great. I did have a few aggravations, apparently it is normal have a bubble or two in the hose while pumping? Had to check the motive youtube videos to find this out. Directions are QR code on the box (no paper manual). The gasket doesn't fit inside the cap super tight, be careful with that, once you push it in its fine. Otherwise, this makes the job so much easier and the materials a great quality.

Love the easy process of bleeding with this setup!

great for bleeding brakes, real one man operation!
I had the regular Motiv Power Bleeder that I bought years ago to bleed brakes which worked great. However it started to leak & the tubes got old & cracked. I tried "rebuilding" it from getting 7/16" (I think) clear vinyl tubing from Home Depot & new hose clamps (the smallest they sell). While it worked, it still had an every so slight leak where it would drop from 15 psi before every few minutes before I even started the bleeding procedure. I wanted to make sure it held pressure before starting. I still might get the washers & parts from Motive to see if I can get my old one going. But bought a new one because I needed to bleed my brakes again.
Liking the process & ease of my previous Motive Power bleeder, I decided to buy this new upgraded unit with the aluminum cap & the swivel cap. The swivel cap is great because you don't have to spin the tube & bottle after the device is assembled like on my old Motive power bleeder. Worked great, no complaints. True 1 man brake bleeding w/o having to constantly look at the levels on the brake master cyl. I filled the cylinder w/ 4 - 500 ml bottles of brake fluid & bled all 4 brake calipers, clutch slave cylinder & had some left over to top off. You don't want to run your brake master cyl dry & suck in air into the lines.

Worked great on 99 A6, and 2011 Jetta. I also added a 1/4" compressed airline quick connect fittings to the hose sections instead of the threaded brass nipple. It swivels, and comes apart easily, and keeps the fluid from dribbling out. The pressure bleeder is Very easy to use and a joy not pumping the brakes. You can clean up with diluted solution of Simple Green degreaser, but be sure to completely dry out. I also used Dawn Dish washing liquid to clean, I think it worked better of the two. Best is to use denatured alcohol as this dry's out everything as well. The whole point of flushing the brake fluid of entrained moisture. I found it difficult to get all the water out of the hose assy. after cleaning and then to see droplets in it for several days later. Definitely use the denatured alcohol. I might look for some to use - as you empty the leftover fluid back into the container, and will need to be cleaned out after each use. I would not recommend you store it with fluid in it.

Worked super well for bleeding the brakes on my E46.
