Diesel Purge contains a mixture of agents with powerful cleaning properties. The special additives guarantee corrosion protection and increase ignition performance (Cetane number).

Areas of application

Used for all diesel engines to prevent and eliminate problems associated with uneven idling and partial load knocking. Quantity to be used for preventive and remedial use: 500 ml.

Application

Preventive use

Fill the fuel filter up with Diesel Purge when doing filter replacement, put the rest in tank. Add to diesel fuel according to the inspection intervals.

Remedial use

Un-clip the fuel pipe and immerse the end in the Diesel Purge. Close the fuel return pipe or feed that into the Diesel Purge. Start the engine and allow the engine to run at different speeds with the Diesel Purge unmixed. After the cleaning process, assemble the vehicle's system. In extreme cases, repeat the cleaning procedure if necessary.

Intended Use Video

We recommend using diesel purge at least in 25k mile intervals or every 5th oil change with running the product in line of the fuel system. Once performed we also recommend replacing the fuel filter at this interval.

Been adding to my BMW diesels and Audi Q5 TDI when replacing fuel filters.

I’ve been using LIQUI Moly Diesel Purge for 10 years in my four BMW diesels and now Audi Q5 TDI when replacing fuel filters, more of a preventative maintenance, never had an issue.

It did something

Got a can recently to use as filler when changing the fuel filter on my TDI Did the job as expected , however car threw a code next day after a 100 mile run. (Exhaust system something or other) I emptied what was left in the can into a low fuel level tank and ran it for a few miles. Voila code has disappeared. There must have been some gunk in the fuel system that this cleaner purged. Will be getting another bottle.

Always Helps

When I got my 300k mile TDI it had a hard time starting cold. Ran 2 cans of this through the injection pump and injectors, lots of black crud came our of the return hose so it definitely seems to work. Car idles much smoother and starts so much quicker. Recently bought a third can for fun, doubt the previous owner ever did the treatment.

I highly recommend this for anyone with a diesel engine. Really makes a difference. In my case my vehicle had been neglected before I purchased it. Two treatments of Diesel Purge later and now my MPG has gone up about 2 miles per gallon.

Every other or 3rd fuel filter change

I apply this to every 3rd or every other fuel filter change. All depends on how much the car has sat and or miles covered. Keeps my CP4 fuel pump happy.

A USED TDI TUNE UP KIT STRATEGY

Used as directed, this did a great job cleaning out fuel system deposits/injector deposits post-purchase of my used '10 Q7 TDI. It absolutely runs like a beast now, revving effortlessly, running super-quiet, and mpg is up also. You will likely need two bottles (for the Q7 you need 2), depending on your application/tank size, etc. The car ran good prior, and now it runs great. What's not to love. Oh yes, it is best to be replacing your fuel filter in conjunction with using this product, in order to get maximum effect/benefit to your fuel system. If you buy a used Audi, look at getting the complete Liqui Moly additives kit that FCP sells pre-assembled for your convenience. Not all additives you can buy actually work, but this stuff from Liqui Moly is first rate and highly engineered to get results.

Great stuff, simple to use

Great stuff to use, really quiets engine and knocks off some carbon build up. Uf you know how ot use a screw driver, then you can use this product. I recommend buying extra fuel hose line to have on hand (sometime reattaching older is too stretched out and leaks) and to rout back into the can to create a closed loop cycle.

Hi, how would this work with a 2016 Sprinter 4-cylinder? I recently changed the fuel filter. However, it looks like a closed system compared to the one in the video. Also, I don’t want to take it apart again. Could I just add it to the fuel tank or would that be ineffective? Thank you!

Simply adding this purge to the fuel tank would not be as optimal/effective as adding it into the chamber/housing for the fuel filter.

The video is for a VW. Is there on for a 2011 335D? I don't have a fuel filter housing placed nicely near the top of the engine.

335d's have an internal fuel filter in the tank. In this application simply add the bottle of additive directly to a full tank of fuel.
