Product Information

Measures the engines ability to seal and keep air in the combustion chamber, a useful tool for detecting a cylinder leak

An engine can have good compression numbers but still have a combustion chamber leak from either caused by a leaking head gasket, worn valve seats, cracked piston rings, or general wear. This tool allows for shop air to be injected into the combustion chamber of a single cylinder and can help diagnose where the leak is occurring. Dual gauge allows for monitoring of input air line pressure and percentage of cylinder leak.

Includes a 26" hose assembly along with an M14 and M18 adapter for the spark plug hole.

what BMW vehicles does the tool support?

Any BMW that uses M14x1.25 spark plug holes in the cylinder head. You would need an additional adapter to use it on vehicles using M12x1.25 spark plug holes.
