Works well enough to get the job done. Easier to use then a C-clamp or a wrench for sure.

Simple to use retractor and no hassel
This is just great. I've used a C-clamp in the past and even the more fancy retractor sets (those with many fitting options) but by far this was the easiest to use.

Too weak and awkward to use on Cayenne calipers. Good for calipers that have piston on one side only. Get the more expensive tool and should work fine.

Don’t have to worry about working something out to retract the caliper, and cheap too.

Brake Caliper Retractor Tool
I am a little old school and tried this retractor tool for the first, I don't know why I didn't buy this tool sooner as it made changing the brake pads a whole lot easier.

When retracting piston on caliper helps to push it in. Remember that little washer comes off to put through caliper opening to push caliper piston. Small but does the trick since for the price not bad.

This works ok but is best used on the old pad, if used on the new pad the sharp ring on the disk portion will cut into the pad material. On the second caliper I used a small section of flat stock to avoid this problem.

I have done the C clamp or other methods for years when doing brakes but figured i would buy this and see how it worked. Well it worked like a champ and I regret not getting one sooner.
