For performance enthusiasts, Bilstein has always been a go to name. Bilstein B8 Sport shocks and struts deliver absolute mastery of the road surface for the performance-minded driver. Designed to push a car's suspension to its performance peak, these shocks are specifically suited for use with special lowering springs in combination with anti-sway bars or other suspension upgrades.
WARNING: Proposition 65 informationA shock absorber kit is a set of replacement components designed to restore a vehicle's suspension system. It typically includes shock absorbers along with essential parts like mounting hardware and seals. These components work together to dampen the suspension by controlling the rebounding motion of the springs. Signs of a failing shock absorber include a bouncy ride, excessive body roll during cornering, nose-diving when braking, uneven tire wear, and sometimes visible fluid leaks from the shock.
Suspension Strut and Shock Absorber Assembly Kit Failure Symptoms- Bouncy ride: The most noticeable sign, where the car continues to bounce excessively after hitting a bump
- Nose dive when braking: The front end of the car dips significantly when applying the brakes
- Excessive body roll in corners: The car leans excessively when turning, feeling unstable

Great kit from FCP, comprehensive, includes all the hardware you need to replace all worn out components. Car rides fantastically now.
So far these are good. Definitely an upgrade from the Sachs. I will say Bilstein did a phenomenal job on this one. Ride is comfortable and still sporty. Will be getting a set of M3 control arms upgrade next for my E90 to go with the new shock and struts!

Everything you need to refresh your suspension and ride. Works well with Eibach Pro springs.
Purchased this kit to replace my worn struts and shocks and refresh the suspension. The car feels more solid than before with the OEM suspension and that's exactly what I was going for. Doesn't feel too stiff or too soft; just right. If you're looking for a solid upgrade/replacement for the original non-sport suspension this is definitely the kit.

I bought this to breathe some new life into my 2008 335i sedan. The main issues I was trying to solve was some knocking sounds coming from the worn out strut mounts. After install the knocking is completely gone. I haven't had a chance to really put it through some paces on a nice backroads cruise, but I'm confident that it is just as good or slightly better than when I bought the car. I happen to like the characteristics of the stock suspension for a daily driver, so this was a nice OEM upgrade for me. All of the components are direct fit and high quality.
My only complaint is the difficulty of getting the front struts out without removing control arms and tie rods. But that is no knock on this kit, just a fair warning to anyone getting ready to tackle this job.
First time using FCP euro. I really liked that they sell kits. I got the Bilstein B4 touring package. I got coils somewhere else sorry.
Anyway they shipped fast had kit in a couple of days. Order was complete no missing parts (I was worried box beat up real bad).
Before I ordered I had some questions about my BMW and they got right back to me. Which awesome. Have rear done, front end tomorrow
perfect fit so far. Will post follow up when done and how she rides. Very satisfied and will be using them for my upgrades. Almost forgot
the most important thing, LIFE TIME WARRENTY You guys Rock......
Made my 335i ride just like it did in 2007. Couldn’t be happier, especially considering the price.

Let me redo my question. I have a 2013 BMW 320i with sport package so it sits slightly lower from the factory. I think 20 mm lower than stock. There are two Bilstein B4 kits. One is standard and one is Sport suspension. Is this kit the standard or sport?

So this kit is for E90, not F30 3 Series, so nothing in this kit would fit your application. it says this contains everything needed to replace the shocks and struts but i dont see any of the locking nuts from the other components that need to be removed in order to replace the struts/shocks( the nuts that hold the control arms to the swivel bearing, etc.) do i need to purchase those also?

Those I would not be replacing when servicing the shocks and struts, but I'm sure we can get you those part numbers. If you were to reach out to our service department at service@fcpeuro.com with your VIN we can guide you to the additional hardware. But honestly, this kit will include all the recommended replacement hardware for servicing the suspension.

No. xDrive vehicles use different front struts that are shorter in length to accommodate the front axles which have to pass through the knuckle. In short, the entire front suspension is different to accommodate the xDrive system. This kit is for the years/models listed in the application guide only. No, this kit does not work for vehicles with an M Sport suspension. This is for vehicles with a standard suspension only as listed. You need kit p/n KIT-22135032KT. Ride height is not determined by the shocks/struts but rather the coil springs. If you're not replacing the existing coil springs ride height will not be affected.

As listed, this kit does not fit a 335xi. The front struts are entirely different (shorter) to accommodate the front axle shafts that pass through the knuckle itself. These Bilstein B4 Touring shocks are specifically designed to use OE springs and should not be used with lowering springs. The pre-existing springs on your vehicle can be reused if they are in good condition.
