Comes with everything you need to replace your front struts.
If your BMW's ride feels a little bouncy or you can feel clunks in the suspension while it's going over bumps it is likely due to worn strut assemblies and shock absorbers. The purpose of the strut assembly is it acts as a central pivot point for the front suspension while housing the coil spring. It also dampens the compression and rebound of the coil spring as the suspension moves up and down. If you are looking to keep your ride factory look no further than Sachs.
Per BMW you must also replace the bump stop when installing new strut assemblies. FCP also recommends installing new strut mounts to complete the installation.

Unlike the performance kit (IE: bilstein B6 performance kit # 35142461KT1), this kit is NOT complete.
It is missing: spring Pad upper 31336767500, and spring pad lower 31336764372 (for LCI e90Xdrive). Verify that the ones on your shock are in good condition and may/may not require replacement. Also does not include the upper spring plate 31336759452 which you may reuse, but check for any extensive corrosion.
The strut nuts were missing from the new struts, so I had to re-use the old ones.
Otherwise, exact OEM replacement.
Nice and fresh again for a 330xi
4 Stars on the actual product. FCP provided excellent first time experience. These struts provided a stock replacement. Your car will ride similarly to the way it did with factory shocks. This did exactly what it said it would. Cannot speak to the longevity as they were recently installed. IT MAY BE EASIER TO REMOVE THE ENTIRE STRUT ASSEMBLY AND BRING TO A SHOP. Lining the holes up to get the new shock in the assembly was difficult. We used a traditional wall mounted spring compressor. No replacement rubber for where the spring sits at the bottom, luckily ours was reusable, just something to note.
Note: I have a 2007 335xi. The only things I disconnected were the sway bar links, the axle, and the brake hose bracket. Then loosen the bolt on the knuckle that tightens the strut. hammer down on the knuckle, carefully. Once it comes free THEN go up top and remove the upper strut mount. Doing it this way saved me the hassle of removing all kinds of stuff. Make sure to knock that axle out though, because you don't want to stress those joints.
GREAT QUALITY AND RIDE FROM THE STRUTS. WOULD BE NICE IF THE KIT INCLUDED THE LITTLE RUBBER ENDS THAT GO ON THE STRUTS INSTEAD OF REUSING OLD ONES. OTHER THAN THAT GREAT KIT. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND
Overall very satisfied with this kit. The Febi bump stops were a bit of a pain to get into the Febi dust sleeves. The OEM bump stops are over twice as expensive as the Febis but the OEM and Febi dust sleeves are similarly priced. Might swap out the dust sleeves next time to see if they fit a little easier. Otherwise the kit was perfect. Definitely a must-do if your front end is bouncing up and down excessively or you hear a compressing sound from the front wheels over bumps. Maybe make a second level kit that comes with upper and lower spring pads, top mount bearing dust cover, and washer? Easy to forget that dust collar as it's usually stuck to the old bearing grease on the old top mount.
